12 Whole Wings
Tony’s Creole Seasoning
Lady J Sauce
2 mixing bowls
1 bowl with top
Rinse chicken wings in cold water and place in a small bowl.
Sprinkle the wings evenly with seasoning and mix in a small bowl.
Let the wings marinate, covered and chilled, for one hour.
In a large frying pan, heat oil to 350 degrees F.
Add flour in another bowl and coat wings.
Heat pan then put oil into hot pan.
(hint: warming your pan cuts down on the time needed to heat the oil)
When the oil is hot, place wings into the hot oil (hint: submerge chicken in oil) and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on each side.
(The complete cooking time is no less than 17-20 mins)
Let wings rest for 5-10 minutes.
Put wings in an empty bowl (one that has a top).
Pour Lady J Sauce on the wings, cover with top and shake vigorously.
